How long should a session typically last?

The optimal duration of a session depends on the frequency being trained. For example, with a Focus Session (SMR), 20 - 30 minutes is recommended for optimal results. Beyond this timeframe, the returns of your training diminish. For alpha frequencies, such as a Calm session, sessions can be extended to 30 - 40 minutes or even up to an hour, allowing for deeper meditative states.
