Hair styling products will not affect the signal quality or damage the sensors.
Over time, the sensors may change colours with consistent use and this will not impede on the signal quality. If you do notice residue on your sensors, to clean them, please be sure to only use water to dampen a lint-free cloth and give the sensors a gentle wipe.
