Muscle movements produce signals that are stronger than those generated by brainwaves. Although we do our best to remove the noise while establishing a baseline for brainwave signal, muscle movements such as clenching your jaw, moving your head or body, or a lot of blinking can drown out the brainwave signal. During a session, you will be alerted if your movement has disrupted the signal.
Note: "noise" refers to unwanted or irrelevant signals or interference that can distort or obscure the brainwave signal being measured or analyzed.
