It is important to note that Focus training must be done with eyes open throughout the session, including the baselining at the start. This program is training mastery of your ability to shift and sustain your attention; this cannot be done without alertness.
Many of us are used to being in beta, overthinking, and "go mode." Then when we finally sit and move out of a dominant beta brain state we fall asleep (a delta dominant state). This can lead to burn out and dependency on substances such as alcohol or marijuana to wind down and coffee to wake up.
Sens.ai is training you in all the non-ordinary waking states in between beta and delta. These subtle states are the juice of life. It can take time but these are trainable. Start with short sessions. And don't be too hard on yourself.
